The very name of 2011 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will remind you of those six teasers that brand tortured its fans with before finally rolling it at 2010 Paris Motor Show. Well, to the delight of all Lambo fans, this technology concept that stole the show away is to enter the production. However, it will be a very limited edition as only 7 to 10 cars will be built with an estimated price around $3.44 million.

The road wracking beast will be powered by naturally aspirated Gallardo Superleggera’s revived 5.2 liter V10 engine that generates 570hp with a power-to-weight ratio of only 1.75kg/hp. With super lightweight construction, Sesto Elemento weighs merely 999 kilograms enabling it to race from 0-100km/h in just 2.5 seconds, which is identical to Bugatti Veyron’s performance. Power is transferred to all the wheels via Lamborghini’s permanent all-wheel-drive system and its top speed is expected to go well beyond the 300km/h mark.
The carbon fiber treatment can be seen on the entire vehicle and its front frame, exterior panels, rear spoiler, crash boxes, car’s major suspension parts as well as wheels are fabricated from carbon-fiber. On the other, car’s tailpipes are fashioned from an exotic composite called Pyrosic, which can bear temperatures of up to 900 degrees Celsius. All these things together make this vehicle worth the wait.
