2011 Oxyx Concept BMW M3
On October 31st, Onyx Concept will unveil their BMW M3 tuning kit. We’ve got a few details and images to share with you but we must warn you: it will divide opinions!
Okay, so the good news is that Onyx have given this car a healthy power increase. Through fettling with the 4.0 liter V8 they’ve added around 201 bhp taking the peak output to 621 bhp. There’s no word yet on how these power increases have been managed, we suspect it’s a little more than a new ECU and exhaust system.
On the outside, Onyx are offering an aerodynamic package including custom bumpers, fresh side skirts and a number of components tooled from carbon fiber including the front bumper, rear diffuser, hood and trunk lid.
Finally, we’re told that the interior will receive a “buffalo hide” leather finish and carbon fiber trimming. Don’t forget to tell us what you think of it and check back on 31st October to see the final design!
