Coachbuilder Zagato will buildproduction versions of its TZ3 sports autos, which spend tribute to the 100-year anniversary (1910-2010) of Alfa Romeo. The poor news: Only ten copies are becoming constructed, therefore you almost certainly will not actually see one. The TZ3 Corsa was initial shown as being a one-off concept in the Villa d’Este Concours in Italy last 12 months.

There are actually two versions from the car, the race-inspired TZ3 Corsa along with the road-legal TZ3 Stradale. There's just one copy of the TZ3 Corsa, which was commissioned by Alfa Romeo collector Martin Kapp. The car features a carbon-fiber chassis having a tubular steel frame, overlaid with a lovely hand-made aluminum physique. It functions a 4.2-liter V-8 engine having a six-speed sequential transmission, while the engine’s origin and output haven’t been disclosed.

Zagato is creating 9 copies from the TZ3 Stradale, calling it “a style exercise” and “an avant-garde vehicle.” As had been rumored, the automobile is constructed on the mechanical underpinnings of the Dodge Viper ACR-X and wears a bespoke carbon-fiber body. Although Zagato does not explicitly say so, we believe the Stradale also utilizes the Viper’s 8.4-liter V-10 engine for determination, which was fantastic for 640 horsepower and 605 pound-feet of torque in the track-focused ACR-X.

Both automobiles wear sultry bodywork inspired by historic Alfa Romeo and Zagato race and road vehicles, with all the rear “Kamm-tail” design meant to strengthen aerodynamics as well as reference past automobiles. The swept-back greenhouse and lengthy hood appear, we feel, downright stunning. The first TZ3 Stradale was delivered American Alfa and Zagato fanatic Eric King, though the next and third cars might be delivered to customers Europe and Japan.
