The Japanese producer has announced a final special edition for the Mitsubishi Eclipse Coupe and Spyder models to mark the event. The SE Special Edition is the manufacturer’s means of stating goodbye to a model sequence created considering that 1989.
Mitsubishi claimed that all Eclipse trim ranges (GS, GS Activity and GT) might be out there as SE Unique Edition versions which includes “SE” aspect decals, black facet mirrors and 18-inch dark finish alloy wheels, along with the high-end regular features available around the Eclipse GS Sport versions of each the coupe and convertible models.

Interior added standard gear consists of leather upholstery with heated front seats and a power-adjustable driver’s seat, rearview camera, Bluetooth hands-free phone access, heated facet mirrors along with a 9-speaker, 650-watt Rockford Fosgate audio program with SIRIUS satellite radio. The coupe version also includes a sunroof.
2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse SE Special Edition will be offered with two engine selections: a naturally-aspirated 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 162-horsepower (inside the GS/GS Activity versions) or a 265-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 engine (for the GT design). The latter is mated to a 5-speed Sportronic automatic transmission that permits the driver to manually select gearshifts when desired. GT-based SE styles also get an automated local weather manage system.
