Although not technically producing its debut until finally the 2011 New york auto show following week, they are the first official pictures from the Lexus LF-Gh Idea - a preview of what Lexus’ following grand touring sedan and corporate style language could look like.
The car previews the following era Lexus GS sedan (expected to start in time for that 2013 model year) and showcases quite a few new design components that will proliferate throughout the Lexus lineup inside the coming ages. Most notable is the spindle-shaped grille that dominates the front fascia, that is flanked by full LED headlights with L-shaped LED running lights. The rest of the design - particularly its character lines, roofline, and proportions - borrows seriously from Lexus’ flagship LS collection.
Lexus says that the interior are going to be a meticulously designed and engineered cabin employing the greatest quality supplies. It's “re-examined each detail with the interior, together with the goal of making [it] driver-focused.” We’ll need to take their phrase for it, for your automaker has refrained from releasing any images from the concept car’s interior.
Whilst we do not know much far more regarding the LF-Gh Idea but, we do realize that it will be powered by some model of Toyota/Lexus’ hybrid generate system, sending its energy to the rear wheels.
