Alfa Romeo does not give much away with the teaser image that the grille and logo much like the grid extended the concept Alfa 2uettottanta Geneva last year. Recently, reports allegedly based on "leaks" information to certify that the vehicle will be based on a KTM X-Bow, and positioned as an affordable successor to the gorgeous 8C Competizione.

Although GTA 4C concept would be set to replace the 8C, it will be very different if it is really based on X-Bow. Reports indicate that the number of bottles will be halved, but the four-cylinder engine using a means of forced induction to help increase power. The engine is rumored to be a 1.8-liter turbocharged I-4 occurred somewhere in the neighborhood of 265 horsepower. This is radically different from the 8C is 450 horsepower, 4.7 liter V-8, but should give a convincing performance in a car that weighs less than 2000 pounds (weight edge X-Bow at a slim 1540 book).

In addition to providing enough power for sports car, the engine could hint at 4C for production. According to leaked information, the production sports car to be named Alfa Romeo 1750SS, which is consistent with the drivetrain in the concept car (1750 cc).
