US division of Subaru has revealed the price tags for the 2011 award-winning Forester model, which now starts at 20,495 USD for the manual transmission version and 21,695 USD for the automatic transmission version. For the new model year – 2011, the Subaru Forester boasts an all-new, more efficient 2.5L DOHC SUBARU BOXER power unit, a restyled grill design, as well as an improved instrument panel, packed with a softer, textured material.
The Subaru Forester 2.5X is the entering model for MY2011. It features as standard AM/FM stereo with CD player and 4 speakers, Brake Assist, Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), daytime running lights, engine immobilizer, carpeted floor mats, multi-functional center console box and sliding arm rest, 60/40 split fold-down rear seat, rear window wiper and washer and remote keyless entry. The Forester 2.5X is also offered with the Alloy Wheel Value Package, which adds 16-inch alloys and roof rails for only 400 USD.
The higher grade – Forester 2.5X Premium – is priced at 23,195 USD with manual transmission, while its automatic version starts at $24,195. The standard features on both include: a standard 10-way power driver’s seat, privacy glass, panoramic power moonroof, roof rails, steering wheel mounted audio switches, reclining rear seatback function and rear seat retractable rear tray as well as the following newly upgraded features:
